The correct title from the work is simply "Darien Exploring Expedition". However, there were several explorations to that area that, in part, carry that same or a similar title. The "correct" title can be easily viewed online. The present title is specific to name of area and the date the expedition took place. This expedition is typically left out of history. It is, to a great extent, forgotten history due to larger expeditions. Therefore, the title, as is, is much easier to find as a "new" work from an old title. Therefore the history within is much easier to find, learn about, and enjoy reading. Finally, this is an illustrated work which brings even more pleasure in reading this work.
